Samsung Electro-Mechanics and inspection equipment firm Luritech have jointly filed four Korean patents, marking their first known collaboration in intellectual property. As of June 5, 2025, all four patents have been made public, including three published on June 4–5 and one earlier registration in February.
The newly published applications include:
- Optical curing apparatus with luminous intensity compensation function (Appl. No. KR1020230168914)
- Optical curing apparatus with optical monitoring function (Appl. No. KR1020230168913)
- Printed Circuit Board position correction device using displacement sensors (Appl. No. KR1020230166343)
Previously, the two companies were granted a jointly filed patent in February 2025 titled Camera module assembly apparatus (Reg. No. KR2777338).
All four patents were originally filed in late November 2023. These filings highlight innovations in both optical curing reliability and automation of camera module production. The optical curing-related patents aim to enhance monitoring and compensate for luminous degradation, while the PCB alignment and camera module patents focus on improving precision and assembly efficiency during the production process.
Additional joint filings between the two companies may follow.
